Church

The school maintains strong links with the local parish priest Father Xavier, through regular visits to the school and attending masses at St John the Evangelist church in Horsham town centre.

We benefit from outreach from the deanery catholic secondary school St. Wilfrid’s, which many of our children go on to attend.

The priest and deacon of St John’s celebrate Mass and liturgies in the school and contribute to religious education of the pupils.

The children visit the church to enhance the R.E. teaching as and when appropriate. The school supports families in the preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion, but the preparation itself is done by the Parish rather than the school.
