The Fourth Sunday of Easter — John 10:1-10 Jesus said: ‘I tell you most solemnly, anyone who does not enter the sheepfold through the gate, but gets in some
other way is a thief and a brigand. The one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the flock; the gatekeeper lets
him in, the sheep hear his voice, one by one he calls his own sheep and leads them out. When he has brought out his flock,
he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow because they know his voice. They never follow a stranger but run away from
him: they do not recognise the voice of strangers.’ Jesus told them this parable but they failed to understand what he meant
by telling it to them. So Jesus spoke to them again: ‘I tell you most solemnly, I am the gate of the sheepfold. All others who
have come are thieves and brigands; but the sheep took no notice of them. I am the gate. Anyone who enters through me
will be safe: he will go freely in and out and be sure of finding pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I
have come so that they may have life and have it to the full.’

Parents – St John’s Catholic Primary School

A Big thank you to the Friends of St John’s Catholic Primary School for their fundrasing and donations towards this project. Without their support this project would not have been able to be achieved!

We are very excited that it is now finished and that the children will be able to use this equipment next week. I am sure you all agree it looks wonderful in our playground. Thank you for your cooperation whilst the works have been happening.

We need your help!

Each year, the PTA runs the Summer Fair on behalf of the school. It is our biggest fundraiser and, right now, it is more important than ever. As you will have seen, the school is installing new play equipment in the front playground and will soon be replacing the hut at the back of the school—both projects that cost a significant amount of money. We held our Summer Fair meeting last night, but only a handful of parents were able to attend and offer support.

Your year-group reps will be in touch via your WhatsApp groups to ask for volunteers to help run stalls at the fair. The Summer Fair takes place on Saturday 27th June, 11:00am–2:00pm. We would be grateful for parents, grandparents, older siblings and other family members to volunteer for just 30 minutes each (more would be wonderful!) so that we can make the fair happen. As well as raising vital funds, the children love it, and it is a great experience for the whole school community.

We also are starting to ask for donations which will be used as prizes at the fair. If you can help please reach out.

Many thanks

The friends of St Johns (PTA)

Can anyone bake or provide cakes for the St Johns Church Coffee morning Sunday 3rd May

We would love a big cake to raffle too if possible.
