On Wednesday 26th November a group of children from year 3 and 4 attended a sporting event at The Bridge. They had a chance to experience different activities. The took part in Dodgeball, Lacrosse, Basketball and Tchoukball. All the children represented the school well, they showed encouragement to others and had great fun learning lots of new sporting skills.
Well done children!
Thank you to Brad and Mrs Brooks for taking the children and supporting them during the morning.

On Wednesday 26th November a group of year 6 children went to St John’s Church Hall to help at the Soup lunch. They represented the school extremely well and their behaviour was fantastic. All the children served the parishioners, talked to them, and made sure that they had everything they needed. It is always lovely to see the children show such confidence when socialising at this event. Well done children!
St Benedict’s have sent their heartfelt thanks for the very generous donation of £1,160.17 raised by Year 2 and Reception class in the summer! They have now had brand new desks, chairs and tables built for the children which has made a huge difference to their learning. We cannot thank you enough!

Friends of St John’s
Our Christmas Fair Needs You!
Do you have a hotline into Father Christmas? If so we need your help as we would like him to attend our fair this year. We are also looking for volunteers to man your year group stalls for half an hour at a time. We need at least 8 volunteers for each year group to ensure that we do not need to close stalls early.
If you can help with either of the above, please contact your year group reps to sign up.
The jazzy jars stall is back! Please can each child bring in a jazzy jar for our stall.
Best wishes
The Friends of St John’s.
