Adopted from Luke 16:1-13 The 25th Sunday of Ordinary Time, Year C
Jesus said, “The one who can be trusted in little things can be trusted in great; the one who is dishonest in little things will be dishonest in great. If then you cannot be trusted with money, that tainted thing, who will trust you with genuine riches? And if you cannot be trusted with what is not yours, who will give you what is your very own? No servant can be the slave of two masters: he will either hate the first and love the second, or treat the first with respect and the second with scorn. You cannot be the slave both of God and of money.”

Church Refreshments Sunday 21 September
Thank you to the volunteers who have offered to come and help at this event. Unfortunately due to the Church Hall having a new kitchen fitted we cannot cook bacon buttys this time. Instead we will be serving refreshments, biscuits and cakes. Please, please could we have more donations for cake especially home-made. It is not only a chance to raise funds for the school but we are also representing the school in the Church community. We had such a good attendance Sunday from our school and it would be lovely to have the same again this Sunday. So if the children could wear their school uniform again and make some lovely posters to advertise selling cakes this would be lovely. Please drop homemade cakes to the hall from 9am or bring shop purchased cake to the office Friday morning.
Many thanks
